About Us
On the job site, the heavy equipment gets all the glory. Drivers slow traffic down as they watch the cranes and cement trucks work their magic.
But when it comes to the really heavy lifting, when you need to move a mountain of problems or logistics, you need the power of great people.
At TMT Group, the difference isn’t in our machines, it’s in the people. In our offices and on our sites, expertise and creativity drive projects with the determination to do the best possible job with the power of a cohesive unit. We don’t look at a situation and see what we can’t do. We work through to figure out how we can. In doing so, we dive into the details at the beginning of each project, long before the shovel hits the dirt.
Sometimes this means finding answers that aren’t so traditional. We utilize all our resources, interacting together as a company and with our clients as a team, which puts the right information in the hands of the right people.
As you page through this site, you’ll see how we put all of these resources to work for our clients.
Philosophy
While it’s important to talk about what we do, we want to briefly touch on how we do it. At TMT Group, we believe there are many ways to solve a problem. The most important one is the idea of “working smart”.
As a company, working smart is the mantra that forces us to set the bar higher. It’s helped us become experts of Design-Build, and it’s given us the humility to know there are even better ways to design and build that are still out there.
Working smart, is also knowing how to work. At TMT Group, the boss never punches the clock or takes a break. That’s because the project is the boss. Big egos don’t get in the way. It takes a team of people to create something the right way and to get it done right the first time.
Finally, working smart is allowing ourselves to work with passion. We’re addicted to creating, constructing and figuring out how to make it better. We obsess over quality and professional service. We want to learn more about the process and continually raise the bar on each project we undertake.
As you page through this site, you’ll see how we put all of these resources to work for our clients.

Integrated Services
It takes a lot of people working as one to bring a project to a successful completion. Because of this, we have to make sure all of the pieces of the machine are working together and running smoothly. So we’ve developed a management process we call “Integrated Services.”
The first and foremost important aspect of this is to create a team of core players. Everyone involved in the project – from owners and architects to project managers and superintendents – work together in all phases of the design and building process to create a smooth and seamless delivery.
From our end, each project receives a total commitment to the owners’ needs – all the way through the post-construction phase. Here, communication is the key element. A continuous sharing of information not only generates useful ideas, it’s vital to keeping the project running on schedule and within budget.
During the building process, complications and difficulties sometimes arise. That is why TMT Group utilizes time-tested project management systems. Our experience has taught us that costly delays are more often the result of faulty procedures and the lack of thorough checks and balances. Even great passion doesn’t overcome these problems, however, working smart does.
